American Girls Shopping!

I had to post this pic! It made me giggle.... Even American Girl dolls go shopping!

Lunch @ Chili's

After our big trip to American Girl we ate lunch @ Chili's. Of course, all the dolls had to come in. They would have a heat stroke in the car. It was a great lunch and even the waiter was a good sport and had his pic made with the gang. How could he resist 4 girls and their dolls???

The American Girl Store!

Grandma took the girls to the American Girl store for their birthday. They had such a great time. They walked through the whole store with their mouth open. They took their friends Riley and Maddie with them that they met the last time they were in GA. They all had such a blast. It was a fun and exhausting day. It was definitely a girls day! What a great birthday present. Madelyn picked Ruthie and Meagan picked a Just Like Me Doll. Maddie named her doll Ruthie Jade and Meagan named her doll Morgan Cynthia..yes, I know. Riley and Madison's dolls, Cloe and Kit, were visiting the boutique in search of a new outfit.

Surprise Grandma!

The girls had a trip planned to go and see Grandma today. I decided to jump in the car and go with them. My mom didn't know I was coming and it was a nice surprise. We had a great afternoon! We ate lunch at the Mellow Mushroom. The girls had their pic made with one of the shrooms..... Tomorrow it's off to the American Girls store with Maddie and Riley (friends they made last time they were in GA).

Birthday at Mamaws!

We had a birthday party at Mamaws (Kelley's mom) house. Kelley's brother Michael from North Dakota, and his family came in Saturday. Sunday we had a bday party for all the kids. There were 6 of them, including Meagan and Madelyn. All of them had such a great time. They ended up staying in the pool til after 9 o'clock. We couldn't drag them out!

Bowling Night!

We took the girls to bowl Friday night. They had a blast. They couldn't wait to go. Of course Maddie was tired after two throws, and Meagan was calculating her score every time she threw the ball. One year ago on the 25th, I broke my ankle and our whole world changed. So even though I didn't bowl, for superstitious reasons, I had so much fun watching them. We really had a great family night! The girls love to spend time with Buddy when he is in town, and he had just as much fun as they did.

Kelley's brother, who lives in North Dakota, came in on Saturday. He has three daughters and a son. Sunday we are having a birthday party at Mamaw's (Kelley's mom) house for all of the kids. After that, the girls will pack up and go vist Grandma and Grandpa for a week before school starts. They are so excited they can't stand it. They have a trip to The American Doll store planned, and a lunch date @ the Bistro with two of their friends they made on their last trip to GA. It should be a lot of fun!!!

The Girls Are HOME!!!

Meagan and Maddie are home! They weren't gone for very long, but Imissed them terribly. When they got home they had some gifts (clothes) from Aunt Steph. They tried them on and had a fashion show. Of course they were precious! Thanks Aunt Steph.

We are going bowling Friday night. Those pics should be funny... The girls picked up this new hobby when they visited Grandma and Grandpa last time. I'm sure we will have a lot of fun!

Kelley's New Cast

Kelley and I went to the dr. yesterday to see about the pain in her foot. The dr. put her in a cast for 3 weeks and then reffered her to a specialist. It sucks to be in a cast in the summer.....so.....we made it PURDY!!!!!

Fun With Friends

Meagan and Maddie are enjoying a last sleep over with some of their best friends Callie, Ryan, and Cody. Then, they are off to a big trip to Grandma's and Grandpa's next week. After that school starts......YUK!

Meagan turned 9 on 7-21-08. She had a blast at a small bday party at home. I can't believe she is already 9! Time is flying by, and she is growing up so fast. It seems just like yesterday she was an infant. We couldn't be more proud of the young lady she is becoming.
