Lily Grace and Bella
Here is a sweet moment. Lily Grace and Bella curled up together and took a nap. They act like I had them plowing the fields today or something. They are sweet and precious MOST of the time...lol.
Dance!
Meagan and Madelyn started dance a few weeks ago. They love it! They get so excited on Thursdays when it's time to go. They are taking ballet, tap, and jazz. They said the only bad thing about dance is..... (I thought OH NO, they hate it) .....it's only once a week. Jeesh, they had me going for a minute. They are having a lot of fun with it. There are a lot of girls from school in their class AND it's right up the street....YEY! I hope they continue to enjoy it. So far so good!

Roll Tide Roll!!!
Here are some pics we took this summer when we went to spend some time with Big AL at cheer camp. I thought they turned out cute and the girls loved every minute of it. I even got Kelley (AUBURN FAN) to take pics on the practice field.....she wouldn't get close to Big AL. Hey, I'll take what I can get. We are all enjoying football season. ROLL TIDE!!!
Hey everyone....this post is just an update. These pics I took when my Paw Paw and Debbie came down, and we ate supper at the Plaza Cafe for Maddie's bday. The girls had a ball with Paw Paw and they entertained him as well. We are in the process of updating and arranging our rooms. I want to say THANK YOU to you guys who helped me through this mess with our house guest. You know who you are and what we have been through. The last few weeks have been the worse ever! Things are starting to settle down and get back to normal. We started the process of moving Maddie back into her room. She is so excited, she can't stand it! The look on my baby's face when she got to sleep in her bed was priceless. Maybe by....oh...Christmas, we'll have everything put where it's supposed to go...lol. Needless to say I will be busy in the next few weeks. Madelyn has conquered her battle with pneumonia. Thank goodness! She was so brave and strong during all of the poking and prodding. I don't know if I could have been that brave. She is a trooper. Kelley has had surgery and it lasted more than twice as long as it was supposed to. She had a few complications, but is recovering at home now. She is sick of being on crutches, but she is closer to recovery than she was a week ago. Steph is in the process of getting ready for her trial at the end of the month. Everyone say a prayer that she is given the strength she needs to get through it. The girls started dance class last week. They tried it out and LOVED it! They had such a good time. They are taking ballet, tap, and jazz. They have opened up a dance academy up the road from the house. It's nice not having to drive so far for an activity. Buddy heads to Chicago this week.....I will miss him terribly. That's about all that is going on with us. Hoping for a boring week at home. Hope all is well with everyone. We are truly blessed with our two girls and our family!!!

The 4 Legged Babies!
Here are some pics of the 4 legged babies while they were laying around with Maddie this week. They all acted sick and layed with her. It was the sweetest thing. They didn't let her out of their sight. We kept Rosco and Aubie 2 nights this week while their mommy had surgery. We had a full house! Kelley had to stay an extra night in the hospital because of a longer surgery than expected and some complications. She is at home now and working on recovery. Her baby boys were so glad to see her come home. I'm glad everyone is feeling better!!!
Madelyn is SICK!!
Madelyn has been a very sick girl this week. She spiked a high fever and we thought she might have a virus or strep. We proceeded to the dr. where they took down all of her symptoms. At my surprise they thought she might have a bone infection...yeah, I know, never heard of that. We were sent to Children's South for blood work, cultures, and xrays. We found out later that day that we had an elevated white cell count and an elevated sed rate (which I found out is joint and muscle inflamation). We were to watch her temp and report back. Within 10 minutes of receiving that phone call Maddie spiked a 103 and had trouble treating with Tylenol and Motrin...here we go back to Children's South for another recheck and test. After putting Maddie through a lot of CRAP we find out that she has pnuemonia! We were given antibiotics and sent home. After 2 days of that, we are still running fever and still feel bad....go back to the dr. Her pnuemonia is worse and we are sent for more xrays. If fluid has collected in her lungs or she has pockets of infection we have to be admitted for IV antibiotics. The dr. went ahead and put us on a 2nd antibiotic. Friday was very stressful. We waited all day to see what the results were going to be. Finally, at around 5:00 they called. We have no fluid or pockets, so now we are to report back if we spike another fever. Luckily the double anitbiotics worked!!! Thank the LORD! She has now been fever free for 2 days. She is now doing better and will get to go back to school tomorrow. Thank you to everyone for all of your thoughts and prayers. I know that got us through this horrible week.
A Package from Grandma & Grandpa!
Madelyn got a package from Grandma & Grandpa for her birthday (of course Meagan did as well). They could not wait to tear into the box. AND it was filled with American Girl clothes for their dolls. Meagan got a courtesy gift, and got pjs for her doll Morgan. Madelyn got some pjs, an outfit, and some pets for Ruthie. They loved all of it!!! Thank you Grandma & Grandpa!!!
