After the Ballet, we went and ate at Speedy's (yummmm) and topped that off with dessert from Dairy Queen. We had such a great day. Really enjoyed the day with the fam. Thanks Linda and Tookie!!!

Hansel and Gretel presented by The Birmingham Ballet

Well, today we went to the Ballet and saw Hansel and Gretel. The girls got these tickets from Aunt Linda and Aunt Tookie. They had such a great time and LOVED the show. We all did!!!

Now for the "cherry on top".......TRUFFLES!!!! Maddie has already broke into hers, and Meagan has hers neatly displayed and is reading the tag contemplating the first one she will eat....YES, I'm serious.

Package from Linda and Tookie!

The girls got a package from Aunt Linda and Aunt Tookie today. They were so excited. They love it when brown boxes are delivered with their name on it! They got tickets for the Birmingham Ballet's production of Hansel & Gretel for Saturday. They can't wait!!! Madelyn is already counting down the days on her fingers. Thank you Aunt Linda and Aunt Tookie!

OK, I couldn't resist. Andre was propped up posing in the living room, and I had to run get the camera. He makes some of the funniest faces! He will officially be 6 months old on the 25th....yea!!!

Maddie's Brackets!!!

Well, after wearing our headgear for almost a year to correct Maddie's over bite, we are now ready for brackets. Maddie went to the orthodontist today, and Dr. Sanchez added her brackets (just four across the front) to pull together her two front teeth. She is sooo excited!!! She picked brown and blue rubberbands. She got to skip some school today, and came home and painted her teacher a picture. Meagan tagged along. She said she wanted to go for moral support..yeah, right (hmmm...sleep late, go with Maddie, eat lunch, come home and take a nap, and play dolls...yes, moral support!) She can't stop talking about them and can't wait to show her Daddy on Thursday when he comes home. Bless her heart, she did so good and I am so proud of her!
