Ahhh...they are HOME!!!

My sweet babies came home last night. It's sooo nice to have them back. We both missed them terribly. They hit the sack early, and I couldn't resist the precious pics of them sleeping. I'm so glad that they had such a good time at Grandma and Grandpa's. They also got to spend a day with Aunt Sara. They were busy bees! I love my girls, and glad to have them home!!!!

OK, so it's been a while, but things have been kind of quiet. The girls left for Atlanta with Mom after the dance recital. They are still there and are coming home at the end of the week!!! YEAAAAAAA!!!!!!!! I miss them so much! Buddy left for Macon yesterday, so I am solo this week. It has been really quiet, but have loved sleeping in the middle of the bed... hehe. I'm sure things will pick back up when my babies come back home.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to the Bauer family on their upcoming addition! How exciting!!! Children will certainly spice things up... Jenn, I hope you get to feeling better. I know it's rough right now, just keep your eye on the prize!!! Let us know if you need anything.

Puppy Visit

My Mom came for the recital and brought the puppies. They are soooo cute! They are so beautiful. I've seen their pics, but the pics does not do them justice. They are very good natured, and have playful personalities. They had fun playing with Andre. He's not much bigger than them. I think he thought they might be his family...lol. It was fun playing with them. Meagan and Madelyn went home with Grandma and the puppies yesterday. They are spending two weeks. They are so excited, and Mom is excited to have help with the puppies. It's quiet without them here. Miss them already and it's only Monday....sigh. I know they will have so much fun!

Dance Recital 2009

Meagan and Madelyn's dance recital was this weekend. They did so GREAT! We are proud to be a part of McCalla Academy of Dance's first year of dance. M & M love going to class every week. We didn't have to force (or bribe..hehe) them to go. They were always ready and waiting for Thursday. They did awesome on stage! All of the kids did a great job. It was fun seeing everyone from the wee little ones to the older kids. We can't wait for next year. M & M are adding some things to their list that they want to take. We had a deal: if they went all year, kept their grades up and didn't complain, they could add a class. We'll see what they choose to do. This has been one activity that was a pleasure for them and us! Thank you to everybody for coming to their recital. It meant a lot to have all the support for the girls in the audience. Steph and Mike (MS), Mom (her dogs and all the puppies-so much fun) and Aunt Sara & Brian (GA), Lisa (B'ham), Paw Paw (came with my Mom from GA), Debbie & Dan, Linda, and Tookie (Minor), and our faithful neighbor Kelley, all came to see the girls. It's such a blessing that the girls have so many people around them that love them. Great times and visits with everybody! Thank you!

The Official Last Day of School

OK, so this is a little late, but better late than never, right? This was the girls official last day of school. They had such a good time helping the teachers pack up the rooms. Can't believe it! They are "officially" 4th and 5th graders... Made it through another year! WooHoo!!! I love my girls! Glad to have them home for summer.
