Ready for School!
Meagan and Madelyn got lots of cute outfits from Grandma and Grandpa. They had a hard time deciding which one to wear today. So, this is the one they picked. So CUTE!!!
Bday Party...
The girls got lots of cool gifts for their birthday. I have to brag on the "2 Cute" gifts. They turned out so cute. If anyone needs a gift for any occasion, please check out 2 Cute's website. They have some really awesome things. Keep them in mind for your holiday shopping! I have a link under my favorites!
Happy Birthday...
What a fun weekend! Mom and Dad came in this weekend to celebrate Meagan and Madelyn's birthday. We had such a great time. Wish they could have stayed longer. Saturday we had a girls day. The girls had a so much fun shopping with Grandma. They got some new Alabama Crimson Tide things to kick off the new football season and new shoes! Every girl's dream, right? We went to Sweet N Sassy for mini mani/pedi's. That was so much fun. Meagan and Maddie LOVED that. Saturday evening, we had their bday party with family. We had such good food, and such an awesome visit. Birthdays around here almost look like Christmas. They loved all of their gifts. Thank you everybody for coming and showing so much love to the girls, for their gifts, and helping with everything!!!

Madelyn's Birthday Dinner...
We went to eat tonight @ Olive Garden. Madelyn's favorite restaurant. It was so good, and we got dessert. All of them were so wonderful. Thanks Kelley for going with us! We had so much fun!!!! Happy Birthday Madelyn!!! We love you!
Happy Birthday Madelyn...
Well, it's finally here! Maddie thought her birthday would never get here, but it finally has. I can't believe how grown and beautiful she is. It seems like yesterday we were bringing her home from the hospital. She woke up this morning like it was Christmas. She got bday phone calls from her Daddy, Laura, and Steph so far-have a feeling that more are to come when she gets home! Of course, she was dressed in her bday tank, and Meagan crowned her with the bday crown, pin, and medal. She was so excited to wear it all to school. We are so lucky, blessed, and honored to be her parents. We are so proud of you Madelyn! Have a great 9Th birthday!

Happy Birthday Madelyn!!! 9 Years...
Madelyn Clare Wilson entered our world on August 26, 2000 @ 4:12 pm 10lbs. 1oz. 21 1/4in. She was born @ Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She was a surprise! Madelyn wasn't due until the end of September, but arrived early due to me not tolerating pregnancy. I had been in and out of the hospital just about her entire pregnancy very sick and stopping labor. After several days of contractions, high blood pressure, and bad headaches, we once again called the Dr. because I wasn't feeling well. So, we were summoned to head to the hospital to make sure everything was OK. This time was different. We were taken to a birthing suite instead of the "lock down" unit. Was looking forward to getting checked out and heading home. Mom and Granny were cooking spaghetti, and I was hungry! So we went through the drill...hospital gown and hook up to the monitors, "Dr. will be here in a few minutes"...lalala. Buddy breaks out into song and dance, "we're gonna have a baby today". I told him, he must be delirious, we weren't ready. So, in comes Dr. Richmond. He takes one look at me ( guess I looked more rough than normal), and said "it's time to get this baby out, and for you to not be miserable". I said, "what? when?". He says in about an hour....uh, I started crying and I told him, "My family can't get anywhere in an hour. They'll never make it!" So after the shock wore off, and Dr. Richmond and the anesthesiologist got together, they said it would be better to wait a couple of hours because I had eaten breakfast. Buddy then called my family, and I'm sure it looked like a tornado was coming at the apartment. I think I heard them say over the phone..."today? like a few hours?". I was so excited and scared all at the same time. They all made it right before they took me to the OR (another C-Section). I got to kiss my precious Meagan before she was to meet her new sister. Because of my diabetes, breakfast, and taking an insulin shot the day of delivery, Madelyn's sugar was dropping. It would not stay up where they liked it to be. She went straight to the NICU to be monitored. I got to see her in recovery, and bless her little heart, she had ate like an ounce and a half while she was down there. She came out HUNGRY.....I was too! She never got to come into the room with me. She stayed in the NICU until she came home. I actually had to leave before her a couple of nights. That was NOT fun!!! She finally stabilized her sugars, and came home 2 days later than me. It was a whirlwind day. Madelyn has been such a blessing. She is still taking the world by storm. She is her own person, and I couldn't be more proud of her. It seems like just yesterday we were bringing her home. Madelyn, we love you so much, and could not be more proud of you!!!!! Happy 9Th Birthday!!!
My Daughter....The Love of My Life
MY DAUGHTER
When my daughter walks into a room
All you can do is smile
Her happy little face can take away any gloom
Her chubby little cheeks
And her big bright eyes
Always seem to take away my sorrows and sighs
She loves to play outside
In the sun or the rain
She never worries about the weather
Or if she falls and is in pain
She loves her cartoons
And to listen and dance to music
She loves it at night to sit and stare at the moon
My daughter is always on the go
She never wants to rest
Which is easy to see why
her room is always a mess.
She loves her grandma most
Sometimes I think more then she loves her toast
She loves to color and draw
And help me with my chores
And to go shopping at different stores.
My daughter is the love of my life
I love every minute of my day
When my daughter comes to sit and play
When my daughter walks into a room
All you can do is smile
Her happy little face can take away any gloom
Her chubby little cheeks
And her big bright eyes
Always seem to take away my sorrows and sighs
She loves to play outside
In the sun or the rain
She never worries about the weather
Or if she falls and is in pain
She loves her cartoons
And to listen and dance to music
She loves it at night to sit and stare at the moon
My daughter is always on the go
She never wants to rest
Which is easy to see why
her room is always a mess.
She loves her grandma most
Sometimes I think more then she loves her toast
She loves to color and draw
And help me with my chores
And to go shopping at different stores.
My daughter is the love of my life
I love every minute of my day
When my daughter comes to sit and play

Silly Girls...
OK, so I couldn't resist this pic. Meagan and Madelyn got bit by the silly bug when they got out of the shower tonight. They just crack me up. They always know how to make us smile!!!
More Dance Sayings....
Well, we spent tonight at the studio for a little bit. I finished the dance sayings just in time for Open House, which is Sunday. They all turned out so cute, and the girls are so excited about them. They can't wait for the year to start. Laurel is so sweet, and loved everything. I love helping her out any way I can. She has brought the joy of dance to the girls, and I love her for that. She is so good with all of the children. They can't wait every week to go and learn something new. I'm so proud my girls for the work and dedication they have put into their dance classes. Good luck M.A.D. in 2009-10!

M.A.D. has PERSONALITY!!!
Well, as you know M & M are taking dance @ McCalla Academy of Dance. The studio just opened last year and Laurel has done such an awesome job with all the kids. The girls get so much joy out of dance classes with Laurel and Alyce. So, to give back, I have been working on vinyl sayings for the studio. Everything turned out so cute. These are just a few because my battery in my camera went dead, yeah figures. It seemed to bring the studio to life and Laurel just LOVED IT!!! Working on some more for the waiting area. We are proud to be a part of Laurel's awesome vision!

First Day of School 8-11-09!
Well, the day has finally come. They are off to their first day of school as 4th and 5th graders, sigh. It seems like just yesterday that they started school. They are very excited about the upcoming year. We think we have great teachers, and they have already hit it off with them. They both have good friends in their classes, so that always makes the transition easier. Here we go for another fun filled year!

We're Home!
We are back and had a great trip! I love Savannah. It's so beautiful there... We got to do a lot of things that were lots of fun. We did a carriage tour, dolphin tour, and a walking ghost tour. We also spent one night on River Street. We loved it!!! Maddie got stung by a jellyfish when we went to spend the day at Tybee, so we packed up, went back to the hotel, and swam in the pool with no critters. We came in on Saturday, and spent the night with Mom and Dad. We went to Six Flags on Sunday. Meagan is scared of heights, and doesn't like to be daring on the rides, ESPECIALLY roller coasters. Well, she rode the wheelie, and we told her that it was just like a roller coaster. After some convincing, we talked her into the scream machine. After that, she was hooked!!! She had to ride them all! She rode the mindbinder, goliath, and scorcher 3 more times. We all had so much fun and loved getting to spend some time with Grandma and Grandpa. Glad to be home, now LAUNDRY!!! School starts one week from today!!!
