Update...

Well, this evening was much better.  Buddy is home.  Meagan is about the same with a little more energy.  Madelyn is feeling much better.  Her humor is coming back, and we kept down supper.  Hoping the worst is over...knock on wood.  Buddy and I are still rejecting the flu...so far it's working =)!  Will up date in the am.

Package from Grandma & Grandpa...Get Well Soon!

M & M got a package this afternoon from Grandma & Grandpa. There was all kinds of goodies in there. Liv Doll & clothes, stuffed animals, Miley's book, movies, lots of candy, and Halloween outfits. Of course all of these things = cure for the flu. They were so excited to get a package AND even more excited when they opened it.  Thank  you Grandma & Grandpa.  They love everything!!!

Maddie napped a lot today. She is feeling better this afternoon. No fever. She has her color back, so hopefully she will feel better the rest of the evening. Meagan is still fever free. Still re cooping, but felling a little better. Now, what for supper? hmmm. Buddy is on his way back from Mobile. He will be home later. He will be gone tomorrow during the day, then home. We all miss him when he's gone, especially sick piglets.

Update...

Meagan is still fever free.  She is laying around but looks a little better.  Maddie is pititful.  She has started throwing up, and has lost her color.  We are pumping her full of fluids and made her eat some toast.  We are thankful that her temp is only 100.1 right now.  Bless her heart.  Pray this is just a stepping stone and will pass. 

Crafts @ Home...Sick Pigglets

The girls are about the same. Madelyn had a temp this morning of 100.4, and Meagan slept in this morning. Just got up, temp is 97.3. The congestion is starting to get to them. They seem more run down today, but in good spirits. We'll see what the rest of the day holds.... They painted these pumpkins yesterday afternoon, and had so much fun. Will update later. Flu Update...

Well, this is the last update of the day.  The little pigglets have done good today.  We did some crafts to pass the time.  Will post pics tomorrow.  Meagan is still fever free, but Maddie's is creeping up a little...101.  She has been given her meds, and hopefully will rest tonight.  I hope this isn't a relapse.  Pray they both keep doing well recovering from this YUCK!

Flu Update...

Well, we have improvement!!!  Last night the girls fevers stayed down under 101.  That was major since we have had 102 and up for the last 3 days.  I am pleased to announce that they both woke up this morning witn NO FEVER!!!!!!  I am hoping we are on the road to recovery.  They are still very conjested and look like they don't feel great, BUT we have pink back in our cheeks.  I guess the Tamiflu, Motrin, and Tylenol are working.  They already looked bored.  I am going to try and get them some crafts to do before Buddy heads out of town this afternoon.  Thankfully this is a short week for him. He is only gone 1 night, and working all day Wednesday and Thursday putting on a belt school in south Alabama.  Yeah, thank God for small miracles.  Will keep you posted on the sick pigglets.

Swine Flu is here!

Well, the swine flu has hit our house.  Madelyn started running fever on Saturday.  Not too long after, Meagan followed behind.  They were feeling better Sunday afternoon, and we thought we were out of the woods.  Well, this morning we spiked another 103.7 and 102.7, so off to the dr. we went.  Flu tests are POSSITIVE!  Dr. said that it's running rapid around here, and 99.9% of all flu right now is swine.  The good news is that she said that the kids in our area have had pretty mild cases, and were bouncing back after a few days.  So, we are at home all week, treating fevers, and taking our Tamiflu.  Say some prayers that some how this skips over Buddy and me.  We so don't have time to be sick.  We will keep everyone posted on our little pigglets.

Silly Times...

Since Buddy was in NY last week and didn't get in until Friday, we had a lazy Saturday. We had fun lounging around and watching the game. Alabama 53-North Texas 7...yea!!! The girls were in such a silly mood. Loved the dress up, and couldn't resist the pics. Maddie watched more than usual (I think cause she wanted to see her Daddy), then she went to play dolls. It's so nice having him home this week. We all missed him!!! NY is too far...lol. Well, when the belt world calls...he will go.

New Blog Background...

OK, so I have been on a mission to find a BAMA background and header that was cute...DOESN'T EXIST!  So, I thought I would try to figure out how to make my own.  After 2 days of frustration, and giving up twice, I figured it out!!!  I was determined that I would defeat this...lol.  I am my Daddy's daughter.  Anyway, I am pleased with it, and so excited to make  my own backgrounds in the future.  It's a lot less stressful when you have the basics figured out.  Whew! Everybody have a great weekend.  We are looking forward to more ALABAMA FOOTBALL!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
