They had snacks and goodies AND did the cutest THRILLER dance! They all did so good and looked soooo cute. Of course, the cutest zombies in Lake View!!! They are so excited about going trick-or-treating tomorrow night. I'm so proud of them. Aunt Kelley went with us to see their dance, and of course Andre went to watch. "Andre"

Here are some more pics of the little guy. We are all having so much fun with him. He seems to love it here as much as we love him being here. He's a spunky little guy!

"Andre The Giant"

Here is our little guy! The girls and Buddy have named him Andre (the giant). He is a rough black Brussels Griffon. He is so sweet and never slows down. He is so different from his brother. He has a lot of energy and is a very good eater. He is adjusting to his new home very well. Lily Grace loves him and Bella watched from a distance at first, but now is right in the mix. He loves the girls and goes crazy when they get home from school in the afternoon. He wags his little tail and starts running as if he weighed 50lbs. So far, so good! He has already stolen our hearts!

Corinth, MS

On Sunday, October 19, 2008, we drove to Corinth, MS to meet Ms. Pat to pick up our new puppy. It was so sweet of her to give us the opportunity to give Oscar's brother a home. We were all a little nervous, but when we saw him, we knew it was all worth it. Everything happens for a reason, even though we might not know what it is at the moment. Oscar will always have a special place in our heart! Now our new adventure begins.

Our 1st Weekend With Oscar...

As you can see, our first weekend with Oscar was very entertaining. He is so sweet and loves his new home almost as much as we love him. He does a lot of sleeping and eating. Buddy loves his "little man". The girls are in heaven just playing with him. They have to go back to school on Tuesday, and are already talking about missing all the dogs. They are very entertaining! Never a dull moment around here!

It's A Boy!!!

Well, Buddy finally has a son! Never mind that he has four legs. We have been emailing with a lady in Mississippi since the end of August about this little guy. When we first inquired about him, he was 3 days old. Today he is 7 weeks old. We met Pat in Hamilton, AL last Tuesday, and surprised the girls. His name is Oscar and he was born the day before Maddie's bday. He is a Brussels Griffon puppy. His breed is very intriguing. They are very intelligent dogs, gets along well with all animals and children, they are non-shedding and non-barking. He has already used the tee-tee pads more in the last week than the dachshunds have in two years....bless their hearts. The big sisters love their little bro. Lily Grace thinks he is her baby and Bella sniffs and goes on about her business. They both play well with him and he loves hanging with the big girls. Of course Daisy is an easy going dog and doesn't care what happens.....she's a whatever dog. He couldn't have come at a better time since Meagan has lost her beloved goldfish Nemo. He is helping in the healing process with everyone after the year we've had and what is yet to come. He is such a joy already and helps to forget about all of this yucky feeling bad stuff. He is a small guy and will stay relatively small. His parents are both around 6 lbs and he will be about the same, we guess. He is about 1 lb right now. He is tiny! Buddy just loves him and of course the girls can't be more excited. We couldn't be more excited about our new addition!

R.I.P. Nemo

I am sad to report that Nemo, the goldfish, has passed on to bigger waters. He was our fall festival prize last year, and was with us about a year. It was a little emotional to see him go. Meagan is not handling this very well. We had our little funeral for our little friend. Most fish that meet their maker get there by means of our water system, however, Meagan did not respond well with this method. Nemo has a nice box with felt lining and has a fresh grave out back. PLEASE pray that Meagan can get over the loss of her goldfish.
